Sharing some of our favorite photos from our maternity session with the talented Valentina Glidden. Getting the chance to take these meant so much to us as a family. When I was pregnant with Gatlin, I was hospitalized at 23 weeks unexpectedly, so we did what we could and took some portraits of us and my belly with a tripod in our hospital room (you can see those here). After six weeks in the hospital, Gatlin was born at 29 weeks and 6 days. This time around, we scheduled our session with Valentina at exactly 30 weeks so we could celebrate making it further along with this baby —it was such a treat! Being a photographer myself, I couldn’t think of a better way to honor this huge milestone.

We are so excited to be adding another precious little boy to our family and I can’t wait to watch Gatlin become a big brother. I will cherish these photos forever!
