Our little ones grow too quickly.  I constantly find myself trying to catch up with time. As a photographer, my life is full of documenting precious moments for other families and it is easy to forget to capture my own family.  The thought of a photoshoot often feels overwhelming or daunting (especially with kids) but I realized that life isn’t waiting for me and I need to take it upon myself to just make these moments happen.  Our home doesn’t always get the best light, so I decided to rent a natural light studio in Orange County, Spark Studios, to take some portraits in.  I used a tripod, self-timer, and Contax 645 (my favorite medium format film camera) to take these portraits and I am really happy with the results.  It warms my heart that I have this special time in our lives documented and saved in these photographs forever.
