Earlier this summer my husband Jared and I decided to take a road trip with our dog, Mae up to Seattle, WA! Jared goes to Seattle every so often for work so we thought it would be a fun trip up the coast.  Jared and I aren’t huge travelers so this was a big adventure for us!! I am not the biggest fan of planes either, so I would much rather take road trips.  Here are some film photos we took along the way.  It was such a beautiful drive!

I have always wanted to see Big Sur, so on our way up to San Francisco, we stopped there and it was absolutely breathtaking!

I just love our little Mable so dang much! Look at her little ear blowing in the strong wind!

Once we got to Oregon we would just pull over if we saw a place we wanted to explore.  We decided to take the coast for all the gorgeous views!  Jared was so proud of this image he snapped with my Contax.  Look at that sun flare! haha

The lighthouse on top of that cliff was so serene to look at!

I have been dying to go to Cannon Beach in Oregon for so long! I have seen so many photographers visit and do photo shoots there and it just looks amazing.  I actually booked a session that day at the beach which was a treat too!  It definitely was a sight to see.  I wish we could have spent more time there.  Just means I’ll have to go back!

Oregon was full of lavender, and I mean FULL!  This was taken on the side of the road in a parking lot.  I wish California had lavender like this!

On the way back home, I met my clients in Yosemite for their engagement session.  I always get so excited when I get to visit this beautiful place.  The views are absolutely breathtaking!  It was my first time traveling up to Taft Point which was such a fun experience.  My couple was up for the adventure which I was really excited about!

The view from Taft Point down into Yosemite Valley!

Overall, this trip was such a great one!  I loved getting to spend time with Jared and our dog, Mae.  She did so well in the car, I am so proud of her!!  Thanks for reading!
